DIVISION D meets the first Monday of the month at 1 p.m., usually in hosts’ homes, and does not meet in the summer months. Activities include making and sending Valentines to shut-ins, making decorations for the holidays at St. Clare Meadows, and sending cards to shut-ins.
LADIES AID SOCIETY aims to foster Christian fellowship, to further the interest of the Kingdom of God in general, and to promote the welfare of St. John’s Congregation in particular. Members visit, phone and send notes monthly to shut-ins. Greeting cards are mailed to St. John’s members and missionaries. The society contributes to missions and scholarships, as well as, baskets of tasty treats to the Lutheran Home and shut-ins. Any age is welcome. Meetings are the first Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
MARY MARTHA CIRCLE has a mission, as Christian women, to serve the needs of our community, church and school. Fundraisers include baking Christmas Fruitcakes and they are active in supporting and hosting church functions. The Circle welcomes women of any age and meets the third Thursday of each month, except summer, in either member’s homes or the church fellowship hall at 7 p.m.
MORNING DOVES serve the congregation, wherever help is needed, and with the needs of our Lutheran school. Fundraisers include the Christmas Cookie Walk and Theme Baskets during Lent. They welcome women of any age and meets the second Friday of each month, excluding summer, at 8:00 a.m. in the church basement.
