St. John’s Lutheran School

St. John’s Lutheran School in Baraboo provides a Christ-centered education for students from preschool through eighth grade. We are committed to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and nurturing each child in a safe, caring environment. Our dedicated staff partners with families to help students grow in faith, knowledge, and character.

WELs News

The Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod exists to give all glory to God by upholding, defending, and proclaiming the truth of the Holy Scriptures as articulated in the Lutheran Confessions, and by providing a means for congregations and their members to extend the reach of their God-given mission of proclaiming the gospel in Word and sacrament.

Ministries

Our church offers a variety of ministries to help people of all ages grow in faith and community. From our engaging Youth Programs to Small Group Bible Studies for adults, there’s a place for everyone to connect. We are also active in Mission and Outreach programs, sharing God’s love locally and beyond. For those with musical gifts, our Choir Ministry offers a meaningful way to worship through song.

Early Childhood Ministry

Our Early Childhood Ministries provide a loving, faith-filled environment for our youngest children to grow and thrive. We offer age-appropriate Bible lessons, music, play, and hands-on activities that help children begin to understand God’s love. Programs include Sunday School, preschool chapel time, and special events designed just for little ones and their families.
